NOTE: Machining materials with hardness below 45 HRc has often proven to be technically but not economically successfull. SCEA* = Side cutting edge angle (lead angle). R** = Round insert was used

Recommended Rough Turning Parameters

Parameters for rough-turning selected materials with "PCD" tools are given in the accompanying table.  When taking finishing cuts, higher speeds and lower feeds than those given in the table are normally used.
